Pernah ngalamin komputerterkena virus?
Salah satu media yangdimanfaatkan dalampenyebaran virus adalah
melalui USB Flash Disk (FD).
Biasanya begitu FD dicolokkanke port USB, maka windows
akan langsung mendetectkeberadaannya (new hardware), dan jika FD sudah
terinfeksi virus maka sang virus akan langsung melakukan tugasnya untuk menggandakan diri.
Bayangkan jika komputer/laptop kita sering dipinjam/digunakan oleh rekan/
sahabat, dan selalu menggunakan FD sebagai media transfer data.
Nah salah satu solusi untuk mencegah penyebaran virus seperti ini yaitu dengan
mendisable auto run pada semua hard drive, termasuk
FD
Bagaimana caranya???
Jawab:
Start-Run (atau tekan tombol Win+R), lalu ketikkan
“ gpedit.msc” (tanpa tanda kutip)
User Configuration-Administrative Templates-System (Pada pilihan menu sebelah kiri)
lihat kolom sebelah kanan dan cari item dengan nama “Turns off Autoplay”, lalu klik dua kali Pada tab Setting pilih Enabled
Ubah pilihan “Turns offAutoplay on” menjadi
“All drive”
Terakhir klik Apply,
kemudian Ok
Nah setelah melakukan setting diatas, setiap kali FD dicolokan kedalam port USB maka FD yang sudah / tidak terinfeksi virus tidak akan auto run.
